Export your data

Vidalado organises copies of your records. You can take a complete, portable copy at any time and open it without Vidalado.

In the app

Open Settings, then Privacy and data, then Download data.

• Each animal can be exported on the device, without an account. The export includes the animal and emergency profiles, Journal and Records entries, Care Circle members and permissions saved on the device, Vet Care Link submissions saved on the device, photos and files.
• A smaller machine-readable copy of one animal is available without the original attachments.
• With a Vidalado account, a complete account archive covers every record the account is authorised to see, including shared Care Circle history. It is prepared privately online and its cloud copy is deleted after seven days.

By default, exported photos are visually preserved but re-created without embedded location or camera metadata. Documents remain byte-for-byte originals. You can choose to include original photos.

If you cannot use the app

Contact support from the email address on your Vidalado account and ask for a complete export. Do not include animal or medical details in the first message. Ask for the export before deleting an account.

Vidalado is not a veterinary practice or a substitute for veterinary advice. Keep original veterinary records and an independent copy of critical information.
